We do offer discounts for children, seniors (62+) and military (active & retired – for the member and immediate family only)!

Absolutely! Group rates are available for parties of 12 or more. Tickets must be purchased together in one transaction (with a promo code), and all tickets purchased must be adult tickets. If for any reason your party drops below the minimum of 12 guests, you will be billed for full price tickets. If you need to cancel a few tickets, you may cancel up to 25% of your tickets purchased no later than 48 hours before departure to receive a full refund (as long as the tickets purchased does not drop below 12). To cancel your entire reservation, a seven (7) day notice is required – no exceptions. Please call (858) 848-0097 or email info@tikitimebaytours.com for details.

Tiki Time runs rain or shine. We only cancel if weather conditions are unsafe – high winds, strong currents, lightning and/or thunder. Captains are responsible for the safety of passengers and crew and will make the final decision. Guests will be notified one (1) hour prior to departure if Tiki Time needs to cancel.

There are public lots in front of Brigantine Restaurant (2725 Shelter Island Dr.), 4980 N. Harbor Dr., next to the Best Western Yacht Harbor Hotel and 1403 Scott St. (limited spots in summer). No parking at Point Loma Seafoods, this is a private lot and you may get towed. There are street spots (free and metered) in Point Loma if you are lucky enough to find one, however we suggest the stress free route of choosing from the lots above.

Due to the limited confines of our tour boats, visiting wildlife (sea lions/seals, dolphins, etc.) that may present a combative or aggressive situation, and unpredictable wave and water conditions presenting potential undue stress to your pet, ESA or service animal, absolutely no pets, ESAsΒ or Service Animals of any type are allowed onboard. We appreciate your understanding.Β 

Is your boyfriends best friends sisters moms pet ferret turning three and you forgot you agreed to go to the birthday party? Is your β€˜Friend’ being transferred to Yemen for work and you need to help them pack? No worries, we get it, things happen!

Due to the uptick in unfounded credit card disputes, ALL cancelations and reschedule requests MUST be in writing (email or text) no later than 24 hours (not 22 hours, not 23.5 hours 😁) before your scheduled departure time.  No phone calls for cancelations/rescheduling will be accepted. Full refunds will be issued when cancelations are received IN WRITING at least 24 hours in advance. Reschedule requests must be received IN WRITING by 10AM on the day of your scheduled tour. No shows will not be refunded or rescheduled. There is NO grace period. ABSOLUTELY ZERO EXCEPTIONS TO THESE POLICIES.

Yes, our hosts are amazing improvisors, but also very knowledgeable about the landmarks of San Diego and the Bay. You will get all the real facts along with the host using their improv training and skills to make the tour a truly unique and entertaining experience for all. It's a blast and you never know what will happen!

Tiki Time is coast guard certified to allow up to 30 passengers plus crew. We purposely made the boat smaller and more intimate to fit the unique ambience we strive to create. We found that people are more connected, involved and inspired while having more fun in this environment.

San Diego Bay is in protected waters – so pretty smooth most of the time! There are occasional wakes and swells from larger boats, but those are minimal. Plus Tiki Time was custom built and constructed in 2021 under strict coast guard (USCG) regulations for these type of waters. The vessel was inspected throughout the build by both the USCG and naval architects. I know, sounds so fancy and high-tech for a tiki tour boat, right?

Yes and No. Tiki Time offers regularly scheduled bay tours where you get all the great facts and sites of San Diego and the Bay in a completely fun and unique way. You can also book the entire boat (private charter) for friends, family, and corporate or special events. In these instances Tiki Time can be your personal party barge or whatever you like – it's entirely up to you!


Groups larger than eight MUST provide seven days notice for cancelations.

You will receive a confirmation email of your request. If you purchased your ticket thru a third-party vendor, contact them directly for their refund policy. Tiki Time can only offer a store credit for tickets purchased thru third-party vendors.

Although rare, Tiki Time reserves the right to cancel either public tours or private charters at any time for any reason. A full refund will be provided if Tiki Time cancels.
