I mean, what kind of Tiki boat doesn‘t have drinks? Obviously, we‘ve got you covered with all the adult beverages and non-alcoholic options your heart desires – just click here to drool over the menu. But food? Oh no, that‘s where we draw the line. No snacks, no outside food, no sneaky little granola bars – unless you‘ve booked a private charter, in which case, congratulations, you‘ve earned the right to chew.
Oh, don‘t worry—Tiki Time is unstoppable! Rain or shine, it‘s always island time, and your San Diego harbor cruise can still be a blast even with a little tropical shower! The only thing that can slow us down? Just a little thing called danger—you know, high winds, raging currents, lightning bolts, or a full-blown thunderstorm. Believe it or not, the captain isn‘t just there for decoration—they‘re actually responsible for keeping everyone safe. That means they get the final say on whether we cruise or not. And our tiki boats are covered and enclosed—so even if a little tropical shower rolls in, you stay dry, comfy, and cruise in paradise! If Tiki Time has to cancel (because, you know, safety and all that), you‘ll get the heartbreaking news 90 minutes before departure. But don‘t worry, we‘re not monsters—you‘ll get a full refund. Try to contain your disappointment. 😭
There are public lots in front of Brigantine Restaurant (2725 Shelter Island Dr.), 4980 N. Harbor Dr., next to the Best Western Yacht Harbor Hotel and 1403 Scott St. (limited spots in summer). No parking at Point Loma Seafoods, this is a private lot and you may get towed. There are street spots (free and metered) in Point Loma if you are lucky enough to find one, however we suggest the stress free route of choosing from the lots above.
Due to the limited confines of our tour boats, visiting wildlife (sea lions/seals, dolphins, etc.) that may present a combative or aggressive situation, and unpredictable wave and water conditions presenting potential undue stress to your pet, ESA or service animal, absolutely no pets, ESA‘s or Service Animals of any type are allowed onboard. We appreciate your understanding.
Is your boyfriend‘s best friend‘s sister‘s mom‘s pet ferret turning three and you forgot you agreed to go to the birthday party? Is your ‘Friend’ being transferred to Yemen for work and you need to help them pack? No worries, we get it, things happen!
Due to the uptick in unfounded credit card disputes, ALL cancelations and reschedule requests MUST be in writing (email or text) no later than 24 hours (not 22 hours, not 23.5 hours 😁) before your scheduled departure time. No phone calls for cancelations/rescheduling will be accepted. Full refunds will be issued when cancelations are received IN WRITING at least 24 hours in advance. Groups of 10 or more must provide seven days notice to make any changes to your reservation. Reschedule requests must be received IN WRITING and are subject to a 5% rebooking fee per reservation (not per ticket) whether the reservation was made two mins ago or two years ago. 😂 No shows will not be refunded or rescheduled. There is NO grace period. ABSOLUTELY ZERO EXCEPTIONS TO THESE POLICIES.
There‘s a ramp and a step to get to our boats, but don‘t worry—our awesome Tiki Time crew is always happy to lend a hand to anyone in a wheelchair. We got you! 🌴
Absolutely! Both of our boats are equipped with bathrooms. Here‘ s the catch – if you or anyone in your group decides to abuse the toilet and it ends up clogged or damaged, your credit card will be charged $450. That‘ s not just your problem – it derails the rest of the day‘s tours and may force us to cancel altogether. So, unless you want to be remembered as the group who ruined it for everyone, use it responsibly.
Being on the water with any tour company is a great experience. That said, we strive to be the ‘go to’ for an unforgettable bay tour! Tiki Time offers comfort, fun, and of course drinks – all with a laid back tropical vibe. Plus all our hosts are well versed in improv. This means that EVERY tour, EVERY time is unique and entertaining!

Our boats are Coast Guard certified to allow up to 30 passengers plus crew. We purposely made the boats smaller and more intimate to fit the unique ambience we strive to create. We found that people are more connected, involved and inspired while having more fun in this environment.
San Diego Bay is in protected waters – so pretty smooth most of the time! There are occasional wakes and swells from other boats. Plus Tiki Time boats are custom built and constructed under strict Coast Guard (USCG) regulations for these type of waters. The vessels were inspected throughout the build by both the USCG and naval architects. I know, sounds so fancy and high-tech for a tiki tour boat, right?
Yes and No. Tiki Time offers regularly scheduled San Diego boat tours where you get all the great facts and sites of San Diego and the bay in a completely fun and unique way. You can also book the entire boat (private charter) for friends, family, and corporate or special events. In these instances Tiki Time can be your personal party barge or whatever you like – it‘s entirely up to you!
